Aloha Family,
This time we will explore ways to become more in tune with your inner child.
As we are going through our lives sometimes we tend to take life a bit too seriously and stop nourishing our inner child, this beautiful curiosity of discovering your surroundings and of course yourself. A book and all-time classic that points towards this is "The Little Prince" by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, where the little prince embarks on a journey in which he learns valuable life lessons. The tale explores the importance of connections and the beauty of looking into the world from a child's perspective. On his way, he meets different "grown-up" characters, who are busy following their tasks and automatically moving in their conditioned frame of mind.
I guess it is too easy to get entangled in the priorities, that we give life and the chores of our society to participate in what we call "the game of life". We are running to get more and more and while we are running we completely forget what is truly precious and needs to be cared for and nourished... your inner child. Your inner child helps you to stay in tune with your feelings and to be true to yourself. It shows you what is important in life and I can tell you, it's certainly not money or any kind of external value. This will only satisfy your needs temporarily until the next temptation knocks on your door and gets your attention.
It is a big teacher and reminds you of what is truly precious in life, this moment, to be mindful and open for change, to be like a feather in the wind and not become lost in the delusions that our value-driven society has to offer.
Now, let's explore some tools that help us stay connected to our inner child and embrace the magic of life.

Nature
Firstly, go outside in nature and spend time without your smartphone. Seriously, it's that simple. The reward centre in the brain gets constantly triggered by the notifications we receive and we try to react to them as soon as possible to get a short moment of instant gratification. Ahh so good, but then in the next moment it's gone and do you know what you missed? The present moment and that you want to connect with your environment and the nature of your beautiful being. It is commonly known that walks in the forest are like therapy, is is good for your physical and mental health and improves cognitive function.
It allows you to simply be you, free from judgement and the hustle and bustle of our world. The time starts to slow down and simultaneously your mind starts to become more clear and centred. A good tip is to walk bare foot, to feel the ground beneath and connect with Mother Earth. The sensations of walking, the texture of the ground and the sensations around you like the wind whispering through the leaves will pull you into the moment. Start to become curious about your surroundings, is there anything that catches your attention, that you want to explore? It's God's playground and you are here to have fun, so do what is good for you, allow your inner child to come out and play, free from any conditioning and limitations.
The beauty in nature is that it reflects your internal state of being and brings you back to the connection we share with all of existence. We can be truly immersed in nature and break the boundaries of our mind, the delusion that we are separate from our environment, but the truth is that we are always connected to whatever is. Everything is energy and that is the essence of our being, we are literally tuning in with our divinity, our roots that grow deep down into mother earth, which is not only healing on a physical plane, but also transcendent on a soul level into our collective consciousness. What this means is, when we are healing ourselves, we also heal the friction that we've created in this particular timeline. So if we are working through traumas in ourselves, we actually helping others to heal these traumas, too.
Dancing
We can all dance, even if you think that you can't - drop this belief and trust me when I say there is no such a thing as wrong and right movement. Our conditioning to judge ourselves and our environment hinders us from seeing the fundamental truth: there is no such thing as ‘wrong or right’ movement in dancing. There is something liberating in dropping this inner critic or the narratives, that are present since such a long time and see beyond these limitations. That’s why it’s so beautiful to be in a safe non-judgemental space, which allows you to do so, surrounded by individuals who just want to let their inner child out to play, be free in their expression and connect with themselves.
It is deeply healing, as we are moving through the norm of life and sometimes completely forget that in ourselves is still this curious, loving inner child, who wants to explore and play and be connected with the body sensations. It is AMAZING to embrace your beautiful being without any limitations.
Through dancing, we can move and release unresolved energy and traumas that are stored in certain parts of the body and hinder our energy from flowing freely. Dancing is a way to connect with our soul and transcendent out of our bodies, to unite with the universal energy source (or whatever you prefer to call it.)

It is a way to connect with oneself and other Individuals without the distraction of words, like any Artform it allows space for interpretation and while imagination flows freely, it goes far beyond than what we could express with words. It is a universal languange and open to everyone. We are tapping into our ancient body wisdom and unreval deeper laying emotions and insights. But dancing is also simply about being awkward and confident in doing so, not judging ourselves for any thing we are doing and acknowledge our divinity.
Creativity
The final tool at this blog is harnessing creativity and embracing a spirit of playfulness in your daily life.
Let's go back in time, when you were young. What is it that brought you joy day by day? For me, it was going out, exploring nature alone or with my friends and looking for new adventures.
The world was our playground and our imagination was boundless. I remember quite vividly how my imaginiation created worlds within worlds. When i saw my toys, they were not just toys, they had a life and were talking to me. Our imagination is directy linked to our creativity. It allows us to tap into the unknown, into the realm of fantasy and magic.
Creativity affects our neuroplasticity, the brains abality to change and adapt. This extraordinary capability facilitates the creation of new neural pathways, strengthening those already in place, and removing redundant ones. One effective strategy involves immersing ourselves in novel experiences and seizing opportunities to learn. By traveling beyond our comfort zones and embracing change and new activities, we stimulate our brains to form new connections and produce creative ideas. Embarking on journeys to unknown places, delving into new hobbies, or exploring unfamiliar topics through courses are all ways to encourage neuroplasticity and foster our creative abilities.
Let's trace the footsteps we made as children and start to be curious again. Taking in our everyday environment with fresh eyes, being open to change and new adventures. Actively express creativity, learn how to play an instrument or do something you have never done before. It may seem hard in the beginning, but with every small step it will become easier. Personally, I love meditating. It is a profoundly beneficial tool in staying connected to my inner child as I become more compassionate to myself and open to the beauty of life in the present moment. I feel when we are young we are going through life in the present moment, but once the inner narritives (that we tell ourselves) become stronger, we get caught in the stories of the past or the worries of the future and subconsciously decide to leave this infinite present moment behind.
So deciding consciously to do something about it, bringing light into the darkness and
doing the things that are good for you, investing in yourself is the best investment you can ever make in life. Your life is full of stepping stones and it is important to be aware in this moment to form the dream life you want (and meant) to have.
Nourish your heart and taking care of your precious inner child will help you to transform the patterns from the past into beneficial habits that help you to grow and develop your beautiful self. Your inner child is your Guru, the connection to unconditional love.
