Our perception of reality is simply a part of the truth in the grander scheme of things.
As we move through life, our reality changes with our beliefs from insights we gather along the way. So we are living in our subjective reality that our conditioned mind is continuously crafting. But what is this reality we all co-creating and how can we grasp it?
I find that the more I observe artistic expression, I realise that it's never good or bad, it simply is. Art and life is about letting ourselves fall into the flow state and becoming a part of the creative act. There is no I involved in this creation, the body acts as a vessel for this universal creative force that flows through us. So like our perception of reality, our ego comes into play and tries to personalise it, define it and push it into a category. But how can we judge something, that is neither good nor bad?
I believe that we look into ourselves and compare our pure expression of who we truly are with expectations and previous artworks, or other artists, which can then create friction and result in a feeling of failure and disappointment. We put the template of our conditioned mind onto a pure and wonderful expression. It is like putting a frame onto a boundless ocean, doesn't make sense, does it?
However, I don't want to undervalue the place for comparison. I believe, if healthily applied, it helps us to grow and flourish. Observing the qualities and wisdom of our role models is a gift that undoubtedly benefits our personal development. But if not wisely applied, it can be like the infamous quote "comparison is the thief of joy". If we compare ourselves with others, we may be left with a feeling of jealousy or superiority, neither of which create a healthy mindset.
Like most things in life, it's about finding balance and letting the creativity flow, trying to not personalise what we create. This is easier said than done, as we are all sentient beings with feelings and emotions, developing attachments the moment we are born. We seek for validation in one way or the other. The more we make art, the more we become one with the created object. Therefore, we need to widen our perspective, let go of our egos and be a part of the stream of consciousness and observe the act of creation at the same time.
It is an awe-inspiring concept, because what we are observing is the creative force itself, the architect of all life, from which creativity is incarnating into this physical reality, so we can perceive it.

Art is life
Art is a spiritual teacher that helps us to deepen our understanding of our creative power, the transmutation from the non-manifested into our physical reality. Art is here to be created and be felt through the lenses of others and, of course, you. It heals covered wounds and can reveal deep traumas from the past. Art is life and when we truly open our eyes, we see that this creative life force is all around us. Every Sunrise or sunset is full of Joy and vibrant energy, the birds that sing the song of creation represent how we should cherish this wonderful gift of life. It is here to be lived, to be boundless, free and experienced with the curious eyes of a child.
Through the process of making art, we are realising that our life is a piece of art too. Our life is like a painting or a symphony that we co-create with all the experiences that we are going through. If we look through the lens of our Artist, we seek opportunities to express our gifts in a way that serves our highest good and others in the best possible manner. When we observe Art, we quickly realise that it is beyond knowing, beyond words.
As I say to my friends and to the people I encounter, it expresses what we can't express with words - it is a universal language. For me as a musician, I find it fascinating to tweak synths and see how the sounds are resonating in my soul. It is like painting in colours, not visible to our eyes. We are learning to listen to our feelings and to embrace all of them.
In my creative process, I had quite some time mental blockages, which I could physically feel in the form of pain. I've learned that these act like a mirror of my internal state. We can't force art, once your mind gets in the way, it's really hard to get into a flow state.
But it took me some time to realise that it's as important to rest as it is to make art.
It is ok to not do anything and understand that while we are resting, we still progressing. Like everything that we learn, we process it through our sleep so we can rewire our brains and embody the information.

Go with the flow
There is a secret to life that says that as soon as you let something go, it comes naturally to you. I guess most of us experienced what that means, for example, if your heart broke after a relationship and you were still attached, not allowing anyone else to enter your life, but once you took the conscious decision to let go, someone magically appeared in your life.
Or perhaps you wanted a job so much, but even when you pushed towards it, it felt like as much as you've tried, the goal just moved further away. But again, it changed when you stopped pushing and suddenly, the goal moved towards you.
Sometimes we want everything in life directly and get disappointed when we are not getting instant gratification, but in physical reality, it takes a strong intention, time and energy to create something. When we look into our lives, we can see this in multiple ways.
For example, when we started walking, we didn't run straight away, there were millions of trials and errors in between, which enabled us to build this muscle memory and finally become a master in it. The same is true for our language, our passions and all that we are doing now on autopilot. So we just have to remember to be patient and persistent and that it takes effort and dedication to become good in something.
Life can be daunting when we experience ups and downs and it can feel like we are getting blown into every direction at the same time, but as you are progressing through life it's important to reflect on the progress you've made.
For example, ask yourself in the morning what it is that you want to create on this day, and how you want to spend your valuable time. Set yourself an intention, which helps you to guide your energy and breaks down your bigger goals into smaller achievements. At the end of the day, you can reflect on your intentions and be happy with the progress you've made.

Look how far you have come and notice the magic in all of us, every cell of our bodies is vibrating this enormously brilliant life force. The same life force, that created all that is in this physical and non-physical reality. Isn't it beautiful to know that our atoms and molecular structures are identical? We are all made out of the same components, we are all equals in the eye of nature.
Sometimes we just try to push ourselves in a created system, which is simply not equal and fitting for our boundless beings. It is outdated and designed by people who benefit from this system. It wants us to be productive for the sake of getting more and more and is made to keep us busy. Some of us took this game way too seriously and lost our childlike curiosity along the way. But it's exactly this inner child that needs our attention because it reminds us of our dreams and passions and plays with our imagination. Our imagination helps o co co-create the life we dream of because we start to see and understand our infinite potential and the simplicity of life and act in harmony with it.
I want to say that it's ok to don't know where you are going all the time, that's life's journey and with resistance comes growth - as long as you are following your heart, you will be always on the right track. The process can be daunting at times, but we need to remind ourselves that this moment will always pass. So it is time to recenter ourselves, take a deep breath and focus on our humanity, on caring for ourselves and be loving and kind to others, so we make the world around us a better place. We all are the change, and everything that it takes is a conscious decision. So what is the world that you want to create? It's your journey.

Infinite love & gratitude
